The Sunriseville School is a Senior Secondary School from Nursery (2½ years to XII Class). It is nestled in the tranquil surroundings of the Jal Vayu Vihar residential colony in Sector 25 Noida. The school campus is spread over 2 acres and provides a learning environment that is safe and encourages abundant natural light and fresh air.
We are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). For classes 11th and 12th the school offers science, commerce and humanities streams along with an array of elective subjects. Our student teacher ratio is 25:1 and our student space ratio is 1:20 (in square feet).
We are a two section school. This allows us to develop a personal relationship with our students and their families. Teachers are able to fully gauge the student aptitude and customize the teaching methodology appropriately. High or near perfect parent turn out at the parent teacher meetings is a reflection of the strong relationship we share with our parent community. Even our Principal has an open door policy to bring down communication barriers.
Our curriculum is broad based, comprehensive and student driven. Interesting and challenging classroom assignments that are appropriate to the subject and closely related to the lesson taught are assigned. The student evaluation is based on a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation scheme. Per this system the year-end student performance is based on achievement of several intermediate benchmarks and not just the final exam.
The school has well equipped and spacious physics, chemistry, biology, and computer laboratories. It also has a well stocked library, an art room for junior and senior students, a yoga room, and a sick room. There are multi-utility halls where students practice vocal music, dramatics and karate. The class room teaching is facilitated by technology tools like OHP, smart boards and digital content.
The students can participate in several extra-curricular activities which are showcased via special events like the sports day, the cultural function, the annual theme based exhibition and the bi-weekly theme based assembly. These events have received a lot of acclaim in the media and by the community.
The students can also take advantage of several clubs which provide them an opportunity to extend their learning beyond the regular curriculum. These clubs are the Art and Craft club, the Computer club, the Disaster Management and Heritage club, the Dramatics club, the Ecology club, the English language club, the Hindi language club, the Home science club, the Math's club, the Music and Dance club, the Robotics club, the Safety/First Aid/Health & Wellness club, the Science club, and the Sports club.
Our alumni have excelled in professions like business management, medicine, engineering and education. Some of them have either made us their school of choice for their children or chosen to pursue a career with us.
The school has a fleet of four buses that service most sectors in Noida and NCR.
